Chicken dishes are extremely varied. Chicken legs attract housewives primarily because they do not need special processing. A delicious dinner will turn out even if the legs are simply fried. But if you have five hours of free time and a desire to please your loved ones with an unusual dish, cook chicken legs in mayonnaise-mustard filling.

- 100 g mayonnaise;
- 50 g mustard;
- 1 tablespoon salt

Step 1
Prepare chicken legs. Rinse and dry them. You can, of course, put them in a bowl or on a dish, but it is better to use a piece of cotton or linen cloth to dry.
Step 2
Legs must be pickled. To do this, while they dry, use a garlic mixture to coat. Take a not very large head of garlic, peel it. Crush the slices with a press. If you don't have one, you can chop the garlic and grind it in a porcelain mortar.
Step 3
Place the garlic in a small bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of salt and spices there. Mix it all well. The amount and composition of spices depends on your taste. The dish turns out to be quite spicy even without them. With what you get, coat the legs and leave them to marinate for four hours. Do not spare the mixture, cover the legs completely and with a sufficiently thick layer.
Step 4
Preheat oven to 170 ° C. Take a dry baking sheet, put the chicken legs on it. Pour in some water. Place the dish in the oven and bake until half cooked. It will take half an hour or more.
Step 5
For pouring, take 100 g of mayonnaise and 50 g of prepared mustard. Mayonnaise can be anything, but the best is the classic Provencal without any additives, especially if you marinated the legs with a lot of spices. Mustard - from a tube or from a jar.
Step 6
Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Lubricate the legs with a thick layer of fill. Put it all back in the oven. Bake the dish at the same temperature until tender, that is, about another quarter of an hour.
Step 7
Place the legs on a platter and serve hot. Boiled potatoes, mashed potatoes, fried and stewed vegetables are suitable as a side dish. You can take chicken legs prepared in this way with you to a picnic. To do this, it is best to wrap them in foil. They, of course, will cool down a little, but they will still remain very tasty and juicy.
