It happens that even the most experienced housewife turns out tough meat. The result of cooking steaks depends not only on the skill of the cook, but also on the quality of the meat. If the purchased meat turns out to be old, then it can be softened with a marinade.
Fruit marinade
For fruit marinade, you can use kiwi. It is necessary to grate the kiwi on a fine grater, add a little dry rosemary and white pepper. In the resulting mixture, you need to marinate the steaks for 30 minutes, then wipe them with a napkin and fry as usual. Due to the effect of fruit acids, the meat is very soft and aromatic.
Milk marinade
Milk marinades will help tenderize even the toughest and oldest meats. Cooking a marinade is as easy as shelling pears - you need to mix kefir and carbonated water in equal proportions, add salt, pepper and any spices to taste. In such a marinade, the meat should stay for 2-4 hours. You can fry meat in a pan and on a fire.
Wine marinade
A wine-based marinade will help to prepare soft meat. To prepare it, you will need dry white wine, sparkling water, 3 onions and spices. All ingredients must be mixed. It will take about 5 hours of marinating for the meat to become tender.
Beer marinade
This is another easy way to soften meat. The meat must be soaked in dark beer, adding spices. Just 1, 5 hours and the tough meat will become soft. The peculiarity of this marinade is that the beer leaves a persistent bready aroma.
Marinade on vodka
You only need 100 g of vodka (for 1 kg of meat) and 10 tablespoons of soy sauce. The resulting mixture must be smeared with meat and left for 1, 5 hours. During preparation, the alcohol will evaporate and not even a smell will remain from the vodka. Alcoholic marinades are the most effective, so they can be safely used even for the toughest meat.
