Meat heh is an easy-to-prepare Korean dish. Despite its exotic origin, heh from meat does not require any special products, except, perhaps, soy sauce, without which it is almost impossible to make Asian food.
It is necessary
-
- Potatoes - 1 kilogram;
- meat - 500 grams;
- carrots - 2 pieces;
- small onion - 2 pieces;
- garlic - 2 cloves;
- soy sauce - 2-3 tablespoons;
- ground red pepper
- salt
- 25% vinegar
- vegetable oil to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Trim the meat from bones, fat and veins, rinse thoroughly in cold water, let dry a little and cut into thin strips. Place in a skillet and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown. To prevent the meat from giving a lot of water, it can be pre-marinated in vinegar.
Step 2
Wash the potatoes, peel and cut into strips.
Step 3
Put 2 liters of water on the fire, bring to a boil, add 3 tablespoons of vinegar to it to make the water a little sour, salt and pour the potatoes to boil. After the water boils, boil the potatoes for about 5-7 minutes and discard in a colander.
Step 4
Wash, peel, chop or grate carrots.
Step 5
Cut the onions into thin half rings and cover with a little vinegar. Let stand for 5-10 minutes, then rinse the onion with cold water.
Step 6
Now combine the potatoes, meat, carrots, minced garlic, soy sauce, and red pepper. Put the onion on top and season with hot vegetable oil, stir and let it brew for 30-40 minutes so that the meat can absorb the spices.
Step 7
Serve cold. Sprinkle fresh herbs on the dish if desired.
