Ingredients:

  • 350-450 g of pork meat;
  • 1 large onion head;
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream;
  • sunflower oil (preferably odorless);
  • 2 tablespoons of wheat flour;
  • 4 tablespoons tomato ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 2 garlic cloves;
  • favorite seasoning for meat;
  • salt and ground black pepper.

Preparation:

  1. Rinse the meat thoroughly in running water. Cut off the transparencies from it, if any. Then, using a very sharp knife, cut the pork into small pieces. After that, the meat is salted and sprinkled with black pepper, as well as your favorite seasonings. If you wish, you can add chopped garlic to the meat at this stage.
  2. Remove the husk from the onion and cut it into very small cubes.
  3. Pour sunflower oil into a frying pan and place it on a hot stove. After the oil is hot, pour the onion into the skillet. It is necessary to fry it until it acquires a bright golden hue.
  4. After that, pour the chopped pork into the pan. With frequent stirring, fry the meat until all sides are slightly browned.
  5. After that, sprinkle the pork with flour and mix everything thoroughly. After the flour has been fried for only 1 minute, you will need to pour sour cream into the pan, as well as put tomato ketchup. The resulting mass must be mixed well again.
  6. Then you need to carefully add water to the goulash. To do this, it is poured in a thin stream, the mass is continuously mixed. Try not to form lumps. Adjust the density of the gravy with the amount of water poured in, while taking into account that it can boil away with further stewing.
  7. Next, cover the pan with a lid and simmer the goulash over low heat until cooked. You can add water as needed during the process.
