It is necessary

    • 2 cups buckwheat flour
    • 1 glass of milk
    • some cream of 15% fat
    • salt and sugar to taste
    • butter

Instructions

Step 1

Sort the buckwheat, pour cold water for 5 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly with water. Pour 1 liter of water into a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour buckwheat into boiling water, cover with a lid not very tightly - so that a small crack remains. Reduce heat.

Step 2

5 minutes after boiling, pour in 1 glass of milk. Add one teaspoon of salt and a few spoons of sugar to taste. Stir and continue simmering, stirring slowly. Make sure that the porridge does not burn to the bottom or edges of the pot, and the water does not boil away. Ideally, the porridge should be boiled, only slightly covered with water. Cook for another 5-7 minutes.

Step 3

To check if the porridge is ready, the easiest way is to try a little cereal "by the mouth". If the cereal is swollen and soft, pour in a little 15% cream and put a small piece of butter. Stir, turn off heat and cover. Let it stand for a while and soak up the flavor of the milk and cream.

Step 4

Buckwheat porridge will be even tastier if you cook it in the oven in small portioned pots.

The cooking recipe can be left the same. And if you want something unusual, you can add some fresh or boiled mushrooms to the porridge, about 1/2 cup of chopped mushrooms for the volume of porridge from 2 cups of cereal. The combination of buckwheat and honey agarics will be most delicious. Mushrooms are added immediately after milk, mix thoroughly, salt a little more. For a minute or two until cooked, rub a little hard or melted cheese on top of the pot. It turns out a delicious baked porridge with mushrooms, under an appetizing cheese crust.

Step 5

Another unusual recipe for making buckwheat is buckwheat porridge with cracklings baked in milk. The method of preparation is not too different from the previous one: instead of chopped mushrooms, you need to add bacon pre-fried in oil, cut into small pieces, into the porridge. You can fry half of the onion with the bacon. All this is also added to the porridge, mixed, flavored with seasonings and stewed for another 5-7 minutes over low heat. Even the most fastidious gourmets will like this porridge.
