Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the groats in a sieve, put in a saucepan with thick walls, cover with water, salt and put on fire. When the water boils, reduce the heat to a minimum, cover the pan with a lid and leave to simmer for half an hour.
Step 2
Peel and grate the carrots. Finely chop the onion. Melt the butter in a frying pan, throw the onion into it and fry, stirring constantly, until golden brown, add the carrots and lightly save with the onions.
Step 3
Put the contents of the pan into a saucepan with buckwheat, mix everything, turn off the heat under the pan and let the porridge stand for another 10 minutes. After that, it can be served as an independent dish and as a side dish for meat or poultry.
