It is necessary
- For gooseberry marmalade:
- - 1 kg of gooseberries;
- - sugar to taste.
- For gooseberry and strawberry marmalade:
- - 1 kg of gooseberries;
- - 600 g of strawberries;
- - 1.25 kg of sugar;
- - 5 g of citric acid.
- For gooseberry cherry marmalade:
- - 1 kg of gooseberries;
- - 1.25 g of sugar;
- - 800 g cherries.
Instructions
Step 1
Sort out the gooseberry berries, remove the stalks, rinse thoroughly, make mashed potatoes. Boil it without adding sugar to half the volume, add sugar in portions, stirring occasionally. The marmalade mass should easily lag behind the cookware day. Put the finished marmalade in an enamel mold, let it freeze, then cut into pieces, sprinkle with sugar. Delicious gooseberry marmalade is ready.
Step 2
To prepare marmalade with gooseberries and strawberries, sort out the gooseberries, make mashed potatoes from the berries. Prepare strawberry puree in the same way. Heat the gooseberry puree, add sugar and strawberry puree, cook until tender. Add some citric acid at the end of cooking.
Step 3
To make gooseberry-cherry marmalade, puree the gooseberry berries, and puree the cherries separately. Next, cook like the previous marmalade. After that, moisten the enamel mold with plain water, put the marmalade mass into it, let it completely freeze, cut into pieces. Store the finished marmalade in a cool, dark place.
