The name "Mimosa" hides a delicate multi-layered fish salad, which each housewife prepares according to her own recipe. Two absolutely identical "mimosas" cannot be found, but they all have something in common - an even golden top layer of egg yolks or cheese, for which some edible decoration is still asking for. There are many options for Mimosa decor.
It is necessary
- - radish;
- - onions (feather and onions);
- - greens (dill, parsley, lettuce);
- - olives;
- - mayonnaise;
- - a tomato;
- - boiled egg;
- - turmeric;
- - phlegm.
Instructions
Step 1
Option one: Using a sharp thin knife, cut the radish “tulips” and place them on the top yellow layer of the lettuce. Complement the composition with parsley sprigs. Simple and effective.
Step 2
Option two: Use green onions. Divide each onion feather into thin ribbons. Lay these ribbons on the surface of the salad in the form of a lattice. Black olives can be placed in the grid cells.
Step 3
Option three Use not only yolks, but also proteins to decorate the salad. Cover the top layer around the perimeter with grated whites, and in the middle lay out a circle of grated yolks. In the very middle of the "yolk" circle, you can put a few slices of boiled carrots.
Step 4
Option Four Decorate the salad by turning it into a fish. To do this, collect the "Mimosa" on a large flat dish and shape the salad into a convex hemisphere. Instead of "scales" use onion rings, instead of gills - a strip of finely chopped dill. Let a black olive serve as the eye of the "fish", and a few feathers of green onions as its tail.
Step 5
Option five Decorate the salad with several types of greens - parsley, dill, lettuce and others. From flexible lush twigs, you can create any composition.
Step 6
Option six: Draw on the surface of a salad of spring flowers - grated egg yolk. To get fluffy balls - drop a drop of mayonnaise on the composition (this can be done with an ordinary syringe) and carefully sprinkle it with yolk flakes. By the way, instead of dill, you can use any other greens (parsley, onions), and for the image of fluffy balls it is easy to prepare a drawing mass from the mixture turmeric and mayonnaise. This mass is applied to the surface of the salad using a conventional confectionery syringe with a thin smooth nozzle. Needless to say, you can draw any drawings on the surface of "Mimosa" with a mass of turmeric and a syringe?
Step 7
Option 7 is your own. What will it be? Maybe Mimosa in a basket of lettuce leaves? Or something else? Do not be afraid to fantasize, and then your "Mimosa" will become exclusive, unlike anyone else.
