When you need to make a quick lunch or dinner, frozen vegetables are very helpful. And if you add pieces of boiled chicken and your favorite seasonings to them, you get a very mouth-watering dish.
It is necessary
- 1 package of frozen vegetables "Hawaiian mix"
- 1 boiled chicken breast
- 1 portion of Uvelka parboiled rice in boiling bags
- 1 medium onion
- vegetable oil
- salt, spices to taste
Instructions
Step 1
Boil a bag of rice in salted water until half cooked (about 10-15 minutes). Throw in a colander. With the same success, you can use ordinary long-grain rice by weight - the amount of boiled (finished) product should be about 1 cup.
Step 2
Cut the onion. Add vegetable oil to the pan. Fry the onion until soft and translucent.
Step 3
Add the sliced chicken breast, stir and keep on the stove for another 5 minutes.
Step 4
Add boiled rice, frozen Hawaiian Blend, and your favorite chicken spices to the dish. Pour in some filtered water, stir and cover.
Step 5
Simmer over low heat until rice and vegetables are cooked through (about 10 minutes). Remove the lid periodically and stir the contents of the pan with a wooden spatula.
Step 6
Put the finished dish on plates, garnish with fresh herbs if desired. The approximate output is 4 servings.
