Curd rolls are an original and very elegant decoration of the festive table. To prepare a delicacy, you need a non-acidic cottage cheese with a uniform consistency - a crumbly product will not work here. The exact amount of the constituent components is determined by the culinary specialist himself.

Ingredients:

  • Dates;
  • Cottage cheese;
  • Powdered sugar;
  • Chocolate (can be with nuts);
  • Hazelnut;
  • Coconut flakes.

Preparation:

  1. To begin with, thoroughly grind the cottage cheese with sweet powder. You can use a blender to get the smoothest texture possible.
  2. If there is a desire and opportunity, it is permissible to replace cottage cheese with soft ricotta. Since the composition in this case turns out to be watery, add coconut flakes.
  3. Rinse the dates thoroughly. We extract the seeds from them and chop the pulp into longitudinal strips.
  4. Now we cover the tabletop with cling film. Sprinkle with coconut flakes over the entire surface, and spread the sweetened curd mass on top. The base for dessert rolls must be carefully leveled, giving the shape of a neat rectangle.
  5. Lay out the dates in a straight line right in the center of the curd layer.
  6. We roll up our cottage cheese stuffed with a tight roll. We put it in the refrigerator, without removing the film, for twenty minutes.
  7. In the meantime, let's start with the sauce - it will be chocolate. Melt a couple of slices of sweet tiles in a water bath or in the microwave (if the sauce turns out to be thick, add a little water during the heating process).
  8. We take out the chilled roll and cut into equal portions. Before separating the next curd roll, be sure to moisten the knife with cold water - this way the dessert will not stick.
  9. Sprinkle generously with powdered sugar on a serving plate. Then we lay out the sweet delicacy beautifully and pour liquid chocolate over each roll. All that remains is to decorate the dessert with nuts!

You can safely experiment with filling for curd products - dates are no less worthy to replace other fruits or dried fruits: dried apricots, prunes, raisins, slices of kiwi, tangerine, orange, etc. Even thick jam will be used!
