If your kids don't like rice, then make some delicious rice balls. They can be served both with jam and as a side dish for boiled meat or fish. Such meatballs are prepared very quickly and easily.
It is necessary
- - 2 cups of round rice,
- - 2 eggs,
- - salt to taste,
- - 1 glass of bread crumbs,
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of flour (may come in handy),
- - 5 glasses of water,
- - 150 ml of vegetable oil.
Instructions
Step 1
Boil rice in water (5 cups). You will get a viscous porridge, which you will cool. You can put a pot of rice in cold water, so it will cool down faster. The rice should be warm, not hot.
Step 2
Transfer the rice porridge to a large bowl, add two eggs to it, salt and stir. If the resulting rice mass is not viscous enough, then add a spoonful of flour and stir again.
Step 3
Wet your hands in water and stick on koloboks. It is quite possible to involve children in this process. Form the balls from each kolobok (size to taste) and roll them in breading. Breadcrumbs can be replaced with flour or semolina.
Step 4
Fry the meatballs in vegetable oil until golden brown. While the first portion of the meatballs is browning, form the second portion, which is also rolled in the breadcrumbs. Flip the meatballs to the other side and fry until golden brown. The roasting time depends on the pan and the power of the fire.
Step 5
Transfer the finished meatballs to paper napkins, so you remove excess fat. Serve the meatballs in portions with jam or sour cream - whoever you like. Also, such meatballs can be served as a side dish for fish.
