The basic principle of good coffee is that it must be ground before brewing. The more time elapsed from the moment of grinding to the moment of pouring it into a Turk, cezve or coffee maker, the more aroma you have lost.
Oriental coffee
- 2 teaspoons of freshly ground coffee (for one serving, this method is considered one of the strongest)
- 1, 5-2 teaspoons of sugar
Pour granulated sugar into a 100 ml Turk and put on fire. Soon the sugar will melt and the caramelization process will begin. As soon as the sugar darkens, remove the turk from the heat, add freshly ground coffee and water.
Bring to a boil with constant stirring, but do not let it boil. Remove from heat for 2 minutes to calm the coffee a little. Repeat the procedure three times. With the oriental way of brewing coffee, it is poured into cups along with the grounds, and it is given some time to infuse and the thick has settled. Five minutes is enough for this.
Polish coffee
One of the easiest and fastest ways to make coffee.
To boil water. Scald a cup with boiling water. Pour 1 teaspoon of freshly ground coffee into it. Pour boiling water over and stir. When crema appears on the surface of the coffee, cover the cup with a saucer for 7-8 minutes to fully brew.
Coffee "In the Bahamas"
A brisk and refreshing coffee option. Historically, it has nothing to do with the Bahamas, it is named so because of its composition and frivolous exotic taste.
- 1 cup of cold strong coffee
- pineapple pieces
- 0.5 cups cold pineapple juice
- 1 scoop of creamy or vanilla ice cream
Put ice cream in a tall glass or glass and cover with pineapple pieces. In a separate bowl, combine pineapple juice with iced, non-thick coffee. Pour this mixture into a glass of ice cream. You can eat with a spoon with a long handle or drink through a straw.
