Gastritis is one of the most unpleasant diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. One of its features is a long flow. In this regard, it is necessary to choose a diet for yourself that will not get bored, will not make it worse, will not cause discomfort to a sore stomach, and may even help in treating the ailment. At the same time, all dishes should be as nutritious as possible, varied and provide enough energy to lead a fulfilling lifestyle.

And although it will be necessary to completely revise your diet, you do not have to stand at the stove for hours, spend a lot of time shopping in search of the right products and buy expensive kitchen appliances.
What foods are allowed for gastritis, and what are prohibited
What can not be used for gastritis:
- In general terms, with gastritis, you should not eat too fatty, too heavy and too spicy.

- Try not to eat radishes, cucumbers, sorrel, radishes and bell peppers,

- Reduce as much as possible the use of canned food, fresh yeast baked goods, fatty cheese, store juices, as well as berries, which have a lot of grains or a thick rind.
- Smoking and alcohol are strictly prohibited!
What can be used for gastritis:
- Lean meat and fish, steamed or baked without oil.
- Low-fat dairy products. For example, low-fat cottage cheese, milk, kefir, drinking yoghurt without additives or bifids.
- Only light soups are allowed, preferably not cooked in meat broth, with the addition of cereals.
- For fruits, it is better to give preference to baked apples. You can also occasionally eat a banana or pear.
- All vegetables (carrots, beets, zucchini, cauliflower, potatoes) should preferably be processed before meals, that is, boiled or steamed.
- From cereals, you can easily use buckwheat, rice, semolina and oatmeal. If you want to cook porridge, try to get by with a minimum of butter and milk.
- It is advisable to eat dried bread. Ordinary croutons dry quickly and easily in the oven; you do not have to buy them every time in the store.
- From sweets, it is better to give preference to marshmallows, honey, lean liver and pastille.
- You can drink weak tea, weak coffee, homemade compotes, cocoa and decoctions of herbs useful for the stomach.
- Also allowed in limited quantities are eggs, low-fat cheeses, vegetable and butter, seafood.
Recipes for gastritis
If you've been diagnosed with gastritis, don't despair. Even taking into account the permitted products, it is quite possible to eat tasty and very varied. Here are some simple and straightforward recipes that can be easily repeated at home:
Puree soup with buckwheat flour and cauliflower
This easy-to-prepare and quite hearty soup can be used not only for gastritis, but also for baby food.
What you need (for 4 servings):
- cauliflower - 1 piece;
- buckwheat flour (can be replaced with wheat) - 2 tablespoons;
- milk - 200 ml;
- egg - 1 piece;
- salt, dried dill - to taste.
Step by step recipe:
- Rinse the cauliflower well, divide it into small inflorescences.
- Boil the cabbage in a little boiling water for about 10 minutes.
- Then add milk, egg yolk and flour to the cabbage. Stir, bring everything to a boil. Then reduce the temperature and cook for about 15 minutes.
- 5 minutes before cooking, salt the soup and add dried dill to it, mix.
- When the soup has cooled slightly, beat well with a blender until smooth.
- Serve warm with rye or wheat croutons.
Steamed turkey cutlets
Steamed turkey cutlets, tasty and rich in nutrients, contain a minimum of calories, while satisfying hunger well and are very easy to cook. Plus, they're incredibly tender and delicious.
What you need (for 6 servings):
- turkey fillet (or minced meat at once) - 600 g;
- egg - 2 pcs.;
- semolina - 2-3 tbsp.;
- milk - 3 tablespoons;
- salt, fresh herbs (dill, parsley) - to taste;
Step by step recipe:
- If you have a turkey fillet, rinse it thoroughly, dry it and mince it.
- Take a deep bowl, put minced meat, eggs and semolina with milk in it. Mix everything well. Salt.
- Chop the herbs as small as possible, add them to the cutlet mass.
- Form into small patties.
- Steam them for about 15-20 minutes.
The dish is recommended to be served with a side dish of boiled potatoes or buckwheat.
Lazy dumplings with cottage cheese

- chicken egg - 2 pcs.;

- sweet and sour apple of medium size - 4 pieces;
- honey - 100 g;
- cream 10% fat - 4 tablespoons;
- cinnamon to taste.
Step-by-step recipe:
- Wash and dry the apples well, remove the core from them completely.
- Place apples on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, sprinkle with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Bake the apples at 190 degrees for about 20 minutes.
