The benefits of civilization have already become commonplace and commonplace, so when water supply interruptions occur, the standard household scheme undergoes drastic changes. Reflections on which dishes are easiest to prepare and how to do it in new conditions come to the fore.

Cooking without water
Cooking without water

If the water in the house is turned off, you will have to prepare meals with ingredients that do not need to be washed or can be easily cleaned. Soups, borscht and porridge are banned because of the need to cook them in a sufficient amount of liquid and everything that requires careful water treatment.

The most suitable recipes will be recipes in which food is baked or fried. Particular hope can be pinned on a variety of sandwiches, snacks and some salads.

Cold snacks

For those who love sandwiches and sandwiches, the disconnection of the water in the house will go unnoticed. This type of treat is easy to prepare and can be as varied as your imagination suffices. On slices of fresh bread, your favorite ingredients are alternately laid out, which can be combined with each other. The basic principle is as follows:

- for the sauce: mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, tkemali, satsibeli, tartar, etc.

- for the meat part: smoked meat, ham, sausage, bacon and any cuts.

- for pickles: pickled cucumbers, mushrooms, bell peppers, Korean-style carrots.

- for decoration: a leaf of lettuce, a thin slice of tomato, onion, a sprig of dill or parsley.

If you wish, you can add cheese, and if you place such sandwiches for 5-7 minutes in an oven preheated to 150 degrees Celsius, then such a snack will turn from cold to hot.

Hot dishes

As a main treat, you can bake fish or meat. Spices, herbs and ground roots, which should be used to grate the product, will add a special piquancy. This can be ginger, turmeric, oregano, parsley, thyme, thyme, ground bell pepper, parsnip root, and celery. Selected ingredients should be taken in half a teaspoon, and salt and hot spices are added to taste. A whole piece is perfect for cooking meat, preferably with a splash of bacon, then it will be more juicy. The classic dish is baked chicken or portions of it. Place the meat in a roasting sleeve or on foil, add all the necessary ingredients and bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius without preheating. In this case, an average chicken will be ready in about an hour, another poultry in 1.5-2 hours, and a whole piece of pork in 500 g will take 1-1.5 hours.

It is easiest to bake potatoes for a side dish. You can wrap it in foil, put the whole tubers on a baking sheet, or cut them in half with a thin piece of bacon on each piece. In an oven preheated to 170 degrees Celsius, potatoes are placed for about 40 minutes.

No water is required to fry the pancakes. To prepare the dough, add 200 grams of sifted flour, 2 eggs, a tablespoon of sugar, a pinch of salt and 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil to half a liter of milk. Mix everything thoroughly. Pour the mixture into a frying pan in a thin layer and bake until browned on both sides. You can put various fillings to your taste in ready-made cakes: grated cheese, cottage cheese, ready-made minced meat, etc. Pancakes will become a dessert if you add jam, jam, condensed milk to them. And if there is nothing, then butter is enough.

Semi-finished products

The achievements of the modern food industry can greatly facilitate the work of the hostess, but not everyone approves of such products. Semi-finished products should not be your usual food, but in an emergency they can help out. You can buy a variety of frozen burgers, stuffed pancakes, chops, chops, cabbage rolls, stuffed peppers and more. All products require only a quick heat treatment: fry or simmer.

It is easy to make a vegetable sauté from frozen vegetables - you just need to pour the contents of the bag into a frying pan with oil, season with salt and stand for 10-15 minutes over medium heat. Packaged washed, peeled and shredded ingredients for a variety of fresh salads are also sold, which are simply seasoned with butter or sauce and served.

Even if there is no water in the house, you can easily prepare delicious meals that do not require much effort and will not leave behind mountains of unwashed dishes.
