A simple beef liver recipe that just can't fail!
It is necessary
- For 5 servings:
- Beef liver - 1 kg;
- Soy sauce - 50 ml;
- Onions - 2 large;
- Lemon - 1 pc.;
- Garlic - 2 cloves;
- Ground black pepper, bay leaf;
- A little vegetable oil for frying;
- Optional: milk for liver steeping;
- Optional: a little more salt to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
We clean the liver of films and bile ducts, cut into pieces of 1, 5 cm and soak for an hour in milk: this will make the product softer.
Step 2
Crush or rub the garlic on a fine grater. We take the pieces of liver out of the milk, put them in a bowl, mix with garlic, soy sauce, pepper and leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes (better, of course, overnight in the refrigerator under a plastic wrap).
Step 3
Grease the pan with vegetable oil, heat and fry the liver for 2 - 3 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and send the liver there in a heat-resistant dish for 8 - 12 minutes. It is better to pull out the liver a little earlier and check readiness with a toothpick: if blood does not flow from the puncture site, the dish is ready!
Step 4
Cut the onion into half rings, scald with boiling water and mix with vinegar and salt to taste. Leave to marinate for 5 minutes, mix with the liver and serve. Bon Appetit!
