All family members will undoubtedly be delighted with the mouth-watering burgers in the pita. Serve burgers with tomato and red onion salad and homemade fries for a delicious dinner!
It is necessary
- - 1 stalk of leeks;
- - 500 g chicken fillet;
- - 70 g of carrots;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of dried tomatoes;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of fresh chives;
- - 4 pita cakes;
- - lettuce leaves;
- - 50 g of vegetable oil;
- - 4 tbsp. tablespoons of mayonnaise;
- - flour for rolling;
- - salt and ground black pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Chop the leek stalk finely. Melt half the oil in a skillet and sauté the leeks in it for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions are tender. Transfer to a large bowl.
Step 2
Chop the chicken fillet into pieces, grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Add chopped chicken, grated carrots, and tomato paste to a bowl. Season with salt and pepper and mix well. Divide the prepared mixture into 4 burger-shaped plates. Sprinkle a plate with flour and drench the burgers in it, and gently turn with a spatula to keep them in shape.
Step 3
Melt the rest of the butter in a skillet. Place the burgers and roast over low heat for 20 minutes, turning once, until they are browned and brown on both sides.
Step 4
Combine mayonnaise and chives. Toast the pita cakes lightly, cut them in half. Before serving, place lettuce leaves, burgers in each flatbread and garnish with chives.
