Victoria cake can be prepared for a birthday or just for tea. However, it is worth considering that baking this dessert will take a lot of ingredients and a lot of time.
It is necessary

- - 3 yolks
- - 20 g starch
- - 100 g butter
- - 150 ml cream (33%),
- - 400 g of strawberries.
- For syrup:
- - 70 ml of water
- - 1, 5 Art. l. Sahara
- - 1 tbsp. l. berry liqueur.
- For decoration: chocolate, strawberries.
Instructions
Step 1
Beat the eggs and sugar into a dense mass, add a little flour, softened butter and mix gently. Grease the bottom of the mold, add the dough, bake for about 20 minutes. at 180 °.
Step 2
For the cream, mix milk, sugar, yolks and starch with a mixer, bring until thickened in a water bath. When the cream is brewed, remove from heat, add 50 g of butter, stir, cover the container with cling film and leave to cool. Boil the syrup from water and sugar, cool a little, add the liquor.
Step 3
Cut the cooled biscuit into 2 cakes, soak in syrup. Add the remaining softened butter to the cream, beat with a mixer. Add whipped cream separately to the cream in portions, mix gently. Lubricate the bottom cake with cream, lay out the strawberries, brush with cream and cover with the top cake. Grease the top and sides of the cake with cream. Decorate with melted chocolate and strawberries.
Step 4
To prevent the finished cream cake from weathering, cover it with a suitable lid or foil, but only carefully so as not to damage the top layer, and store in the refrigerator, but no longer than 3 days.
