Pork has always occupied the most honorable place in Polish cuisine. Therefore, all traditional Polish dishes are slightly high in calories, but also very tasty. The cooking recipe is not so simple, you have to spend a certain amount of time and effort, but it's worth it. As a result, the meat will be incredibly tender and aromatic. As a bonus, the dish comes with a side dish - pampushki.

- For donuts:
- - milk - 1 glass;
- - egg - 1 piece;
- - flour - 500 g;
- For the dish:
- - spices - to taste;
- - salt - to taste;
- - peppercorns - 10 pcs;
- - fresh herbs (dill, parsley, green onions) - 120 g;
- - tomatoes in their own juice - 400 g;
- - Bulgarian pepper - 2 pcs;
- - leeks - 1 pc;
- - onions - 1 pc;
- - sliced pork - 2 kg.
Instructions
Step 1
Make dough for donuts. Sift flour, mix salt and an egg in a glass, add the resulting mixture to the flour. Knead the dough by adding milk in portions. As a result, the dough should be firm, elastic and not sticky to your hands. When you have achieved this, place the dough in cellophane and place in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Cut the leek into half rings, fry it with oil in a cauldron until golden brown. Cut the onions and peppers into small cubes. Cut the meat into medium-sized cubes, the side of which would be about 3 centimeters.
Step 3
Transfer the leeks to a bowl, add oil to the cauldron and put on high heat. Place the meat and fry until golden brown, turning over. Do this in small portions so that the meat is fried and not stewed. Do not forget to add a little spice to each new portion of meat.
Step 4
Transfer all the fried meat to a cauldron, add onions, stir and fry everything together over high heat for 7 minutes. When the onions let out the juice and become soft, put the chopped peppers in the cauldron and stir.
Step 5
Add tomatoes in your own juice, stir and simmer on low heat. Taste the liquid and, if necessary, add salt and pepper.
Step 6
While the pork is stewing, make pampushkas. Sprinkle flour on the table, roll the prepared dough on it into a layer. Put the fried leeks on it, spread evenly over the entire surface. Roll the dough into a roll and cut into small pieces, 2 centimeters wide.
Step 7
Add peppercorns to the cauldron, then lay out the donuts. Simmer for 15 minutes. Pour finely chopped greens into the cauldron 2 minutes before cooking. The dish will be ready when the donuts come up. Divided into portions, serve the Polish-style pork to the table.
