Potatoes with mushrooms are a traditional dish that has been a success for centuries. It is not only tasty and satisfying, but quite affordable for a family on a small budget.
In order to prepare such a dish, you will need: about a pound or a little more potatoes, 300-500 g of fresh or frozen mushrooms, a package of sour cream (300-400 g), several cloves of garlic, depending on your taste, a couple of tablespoons of sunflower oil, dill, parsley, salt, pepper are also to taste.
The cooking process is obvious: peel the potatoes, cut them into small thin slices. Lightly fry the potato slices, salt and pepper. We clean the garlic, chop it finely and add to the potatoes. Pour everything with sour cream and simmer for five minutes all together. While the potatoes are stewing, we wash the mushrooms and cut them into slices. Fry mushrooms in vegetable oil until almost cooked and put in potatoes. Stir everything together with a portion of finely chopped dill and parsley and simmer for 15-25 minutes in the oven at medium heat. Serve hot, sprinkled with the rest of the herbs.
Useful advice: of course, in addition to champignons, you can use other mushrooms (porcini or honey mushrooms, for example, which can be found on sale easily and simply), but the option with champignons is perhaps the most budgetary. By the way, it is quite possible to use other greens, also focusing on the individual taste.
