The main thing in the art of a cook is to be able to improvise! If you have flour, cabbage and a little oil at home, you are guaranteed a gorgeous tea party with a fragrant cake!
Ingredients
Dough:
- Flour - 500 gr
- Vegetable oil - 140 ml
- Water - 250 ml
- Salt - 1 tsp
Filling:
- Cabbage - 1 small head of cabbage
- Carrots - 1 pc.
- Butter - 110 gr
- Salt - 1 tablespoon
- Spices: asafoetida, black pepper, suneli hops, coriander - to taste.
Prepare the dough first. Mix water, vegetable oil and salt. If you use less butter, the dough will not crumble, but will be very hard. Add flour by kneading soft dough. Wrap the finished dough in foil and set aside for 10 minutes.
Rinse the cabbage and cut into strips. Remember the cabbage with your hands to make it soft. Wash, peel and finely grate the carrots. Combine cabbage, carrots, salt, spices. The filling turns out very tasty if you add asafoetida, black ground pepper. Choose the rest of the spices to your taste. You can also add some fresh grated pumpkin or chopped greens to the filling! Imagine!
Separate 2/3 of the dough from the dough. Sprinkle flour on the table surface and roll out this part. Grease the mold with butter, place the rolled dough on the mold, let the edges hang down a bit. Lay out the prepared filling. Place a few slices of butter on top of the filling. Roll out the rest of the dough and top the pie. Join the edges of the dough together nicely. Use a fork to make holes in several places on top of the cake.
Preheat oven to 220 C. Bake cake until golden brown for about 40 minutes. Enjoy your favorite flavor!
