Sour cream is an incredibly delicious pie with a sweet filling that literally melts in your mouth. It requires a minimum of ingredients, and the total cooking time does not exceed half an hour, of which the hostess needs active participation only for 5-7 minutes.

It is necessary

  • 1 glass of sour cream;
  • 1 cup (250 g) sugar
  • 1-1.5 cups flour;
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • half a teaspoon of baking soda;
  • 1 tablespoon food grade vinegar
  • some lean or butter;
  • any fruits, nuts and berries that can be found in the house.
  • You will also need a blender, deep bowl or saucepan, and a baking dish.

Instructions

Step 1

Mix sour cream with sugar in a deep bowl and let the mixture stand for 2-3 minutes.

Step 2

Put half a teaspoon of baking soda in a larger spoon and add a little vinegar. Wait until the baking soda is completely dissolved (you can stir it to make it "extinguish" better) and pour the resulting mixture into the dough. Slaked soda will make the cake soft and airy without any chemical leavening agents.

Step 3

While the sugar is dissolving, wash the raisins, dried apricots, prunes, dates, and any other dried fruit. Perfect for sour cream and fresh fruits and berries: pears, blueberries, cranberries, bananas. This apple pie is especially tasty.

Step 4

Pour hot water over dried fruits for a few minutes - this is necessary to make them softer. Cut fresh fruit into small pieces. Walnuts can be broken into smaller pieces, while hazelnuts are best left intact.

Step 5

Add flour to the sugar-sour cream mixture and mix thoroughly with a mixer or spoon. It is better not to pour out all the flour at once: depending on the variety, to achieve the desired consistency, you need from 1 to 1.5 glasses. The finished dough should be slightly thicker than sour cream; when poured into a mold, it will fall in thick waves.

Step 6

Remove the dried fruits from the water and add them to the dough, then stir it again.

Step 7

Brush the sides of a baking dish with sunflower oil to prevent the dough from burning. For those who do not like the smell of "seeds", you can melt butter in a water bath and grease a baking sheet with it.

Step 8

Pour the mixture into a mold, making sure that the layer of dough is the same thickness. If you choose to use fresh fruit, pour half of the dough first, smooth it out gently and place on top of the fruit pieces. Then cover them with the remaining dough.

Step 9

Place the baking dish in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes.

Step 10

When the cake is baked, remove it from the oven, carefully transfer it to a dish and sprinkle with powdered sugar on top.
