Rolls are a dish that is incredibly popular among true gourmets. If you want to cook rolls at home, but there is no red fish at hand, then replace it with crab sticks.

It is necessary

  • - a glass of rice for sushi (you can use regular round rice);
  • - packaging of crab sticks;
  • - 200 grams of soft cream cheese;
  • - two cucumbers (fresh);
  • - one ripe avocado;
  • - soy sauce;
  • - nori packing;
  • - a teaspoon of salt.

Instructions

Step 1

First of all, boil the rice. To do this, pour two glasses of water into a clean saucepan, bring it to a boil, then pour rice into it and salt. Simmer for 10 minutes, then turn off the gas and leave the pan to stand for another 10 minutes.

Once the time is up, add one to two tablespoons of soy sauce to the rice and stir well. Leave the rice to cool.

Step 2

Rinse the cucumbers and avocados, remove the peel from the cucumbers (if it is thick or tough), remove the pit from the avocado. Remove the film from the crab sticks. Cut everything into strips of medium thickness.

Step 3

Take a bamboo rug and wrap it with plastic wrap. Place one sheet of nori on top, shiny side down. Take some rice in your hands, roll it into a ball and place it in the middle of the leaf. Gently spread the rice all over the sheet, pressing down lightly.

Step 4

Once the rice is laid, you can start laying the filling. Put cream cheese in the middle of the rice layer with a strip of medium thickness (it is better to put it with a teaspoon), then put cucumber strips on one side of the cheese, and on the other - avocado. Place crab sticks on top of the cheese.

Try to put the filling as tightly as possible to each other.

The most crucial stage is rolling the rolls. To do this, take the edge of the rug in your hands, which is located closer to you, then carefully lay it on the filling, trying not to displace it, but only to cover it. Roll the "sausage" forward to the very end of the sheet, press it with your hands, trying to make it tighter. Give it an oblong shape.

Step 6

After that, place the resulting "sausage" on a flat dish, moisten a knife in vinegar and water and cut it into several pieces, two centimeters wide. The rolls are ready, now they can be laid out on a dish and served with the sauce.
