Creamy soups are tasty and healthy if they are prepared with the addition of seafood. Here is a recipe for a soup with red fish, shrimps and vegetables, which will impress no one and will be enjoyed thanks to an interesting combination of ingredients.

It is necessary

  • - unpeeled shrimp - 500 g;
  • - red fish - 300 g;
  • - potatoes - 4 pcs.;
  • - carrots - 2 pcs.;
  • - onions - 2 pcs.;
  • - cream - 200 ml;
  • - celery stalk - 70 g;
  • - corn - 1 can, 200 g;
  • - garlic - 3 cloves;
  • - bay leaf - 2 pcs.;
  • - dill 2 tbsp. l.;
  • - salt, pepper, nutmeg - to taste;
  • - water - 1.5 liters.

Step 1

To prepare this soup, you can use whole red fish, then you will need about 500-800 g. You can also purchase fish fillets. You can do the same with shrimp: you need 200-300 g of peeled, unpeeled - 500 g.

Step 2

Initially, remove the shell of the shrimp, remove their intestinal vein from the head. To remove the dark intestinal vein, an incision must be made along the back and the vein drawn out. Keep in mind that the vein does not particularly affect the taste of shrimp. At the same time, set aside the shells and heads of the shrimps: you will need them to prepare the broth. It is best to place them on a baking sheet and dry for about 15 minutes in the oven, or you can fry them for about 5 minutes in a pan with a little butter added.

Pour water into a saucepan, put the shells and heads of the shrimp and cook for about 15 minutes. At this time, prepare vegetables: peel carrots, cut them and celery stalks into cubes, wash onions, peel and cut into half rings or any other form. These vegetables must be fried in a small amount of butter in a pan.

Step 4

After the shells and heads of the shrimp have boiled for 15 minutes, you can add red fish to them, bring to a boil, then cook for about 10 minutes more.

Wash the potatoes, peel and cut into cubes. Transfer the fried vegetables to a separate saucepan, pour half of the broth and another 200 ml of water, put the potatoes and cook for about 7-10 minutes. In the meantime, strain the remaining stock, select the fish and take it apart into pieces.

Step 6

Then combine the broth with the contents of the saucepan, add the shrimp and cook for about 3 minutes. You can now add corn, red fish, bay leaves, garlic, pepper, nutmeg and salt to the soup. Wait until your soup boils, boil it for another 2-3 minutes and turn it off at the very end of cooking. Add cream to the soup and bring to a boil again. Leave the creamy shrimp and squid soup to infuse for about 10 minutes, and then serve hot.
