Paella is considered a dish of Italian cuisine, it has some exoticism and sophistication. Such a restaurant dish is not difficult to prepare at home, you only need time and the right ingredients.
It is necessary
- - 300 g of white long grain rice;
- - 500 g frozen seafood cocktail (shrimp, mussels, octopus, squid);
- - 1 head of white onion;
- - salt and black pepper to taste;
- - 1 tablespoon of curry;
- - 1 tablespoon dried basil;
- - 1 small fresh carrot;
- - 150 g of dry white wine;
- - 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
Instructions
Step 1
Defrost seafood. Rinse the rice and boil until half cooked in salted water; drain off unnecessary water and leave under a closed lid.
Step 2
Chop the onions finely. Peel, wash and grate the carrots.
Step 3
Pour the required amount of olive oil into a saucepan, add carrots and onions, fry until golden brown. Add seafood to the resulting frying. Simmer under a closed lid over low heat for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Add salt, pepper, curry, basil to seafood and frying. Pour 150 g of wine into this mixture and fry over high heat, without a lid, so that all the liquid evaporates.
Step 5
Add rice to seafood and fry everything together for another 15 minutes over medium heat. Arrange the finished dish on plates and garnish with herbs. Bon Appetit.
