It is necessary

    • 1 kg of chicken hearts;
    • 1 leek;
    • 3 sweet peppers;
    • 1 cup walnuts
    • 3 cloves of garlic;
    • 150 g cream;
    • 1 glass of white wine;
    • 100 olive oil for frying;
    • salt
    • spice;
    • parsley
    • dill.

Step 1

The recipe for making chicken hearts is quite simple to perform. First, soak the chicken hearts in cold water for half an hour. Then rinse them thoroughly with running water, applying slight pressure. As a result, the meat will be cleansed of clotted blood. Then cut off all vessels, excess fat and films from the hearts.

Step 2

Heat olive oil in a skillet. You can use vegetable oil instead. Place the hearts in a deep hot skillet and fry until golden brown, uncovered.

While the meat is cooking, prepare the peanut sauce. To do this, finely chop the herbs: parsley and dill. Cut the bell peppers into cubes or strips. Vegetables of different colors look very appetizing in a ready-made dish: yellow, red and green.

Chop the onion. Instead of leeks, you can use onions. You don't need to chop walnuts. If they are unpeeled, then peel them from the shell, from the films and break them in half. This will make them look much prettier.

Peel the garlic and chop it with a knife or garlic press, prepare the spices. Pour white wine over the hearts and simmer over low heat with the lid closed for 10 minutes. Use water instead of white wine.

After that, add all the vegetables, nuts, pour cream and continue to simmer until the sauce thickens. You can take fat-free cream. They are also sometimes replaced with sour cream.

Do not forget to add spices as well - ground pepper and salt and bay leaves. Use other spices to taste, if desired. For example, spicy lovers can add half of the bitter red pepper to other ingredients.

After about 15-20 minutes, the food will be ready. Carefully place the Chicken Hearts in Hazelnut Sauce on a nice, flat platter and garnish with herbs. You can attach it to the side.
