In fact, in most cases, it does not take much time to process and prepare chicken hearts. Sometimes it takes at least half an hour to cook chicken hearts, but all this happens without the direct participation of the culinary specialist. At the same time, the dish turns out to be quite inexpensive and satisfying.

In principle, you can cook chicken hearts in a variety of ways - boil, stew, fry, make pilaf from them or marinate. Often they are also baked in foil (in this case, in order to make chicken hearts as juicy and tender as possible, the foil is closed tightly). You can also make an extremely tasty salad from chicken hearts.

To prepare the salad, we need: half a kilogram of chicken hearts, half a kilogram of fresh mushrooms (it is better to take mushrooms), one can of canned corn, one large onion, olive oil, vinegar, soy sauce, salt and pepper to taste, fresh herbs for decoration.

  1. Boil chicken hearts for an hour in lightly salted water with bay leaves.
  2. Cut the boiled hearts into small cubes.
  3. Fry the mushrooms in a frying pan in a little vegetable oil for fifteen minutes.
  4. Cut the onion into large half rings and blanch in boiling water (the onion should remain crispy, but at the same time lose most of its bitterness).
  5. Cut the mushrooms into slices, toss with the chopped hearts, corn and prepared onions.
  6. Make a salad dressing: Combine a small amount of olive oil with soy sauce and vinegar.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, top with dressing.
  8. Chop the herbs finely and garnish the salad before serving.
