Chicken hearts are whimsical in preparation, so few can boast of the ability to cook this dish. But with simple instructions at hand, you can easily prepare an excellent addition to the side dish.
It is necessary
- - 800 grams of chicken hearts,
- - 3 tbsp. spoons of sour cream,
- - 100 grams of processed cheese,
- - 2 cloves of garlic,
- - 1 onion,
- - a bunch of fresh herbs,
- - 0.5 cups of water,
- - salt to taste,
- - ground black pepper to taste,
- - 2 pinches of starch,
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse chicken hearts well, cut off fat and remove blood vessels.
Step 2
Cut the peeled onion into small cubes.
Step 3
Heat a tablespoon of vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the hearts over moderate heat (3-4 minutes). Reduce the heat, season the hearts with salt and pepper. Simmer for about 15 minutes.
Step 4
In another frying pan (in a tablespoon of vegetable oil) chopped onion until golden.
Step 5
Rinse a bunch of fresh herbs (you can take dill or parsley - if desired), dry a little and chop. Chop two cloves of garlic in any convenient way. Coarsely grate the melted cheese.
Step 6
Mix the fried onions with the chicken hearts and simmer for 15 minutes with occasional stirring.
Step 7
Add 3 tablespoons of sour cream and grated processed cheese to the hearts, stir. After melting the cheese, the sauce will become smooth. Add two pinches of starch to the sauce and pour in half a glass of warm water.
Step 8
After the sauce has boiled, try with salt, salt if necessary. Add your favorite spices to taste. If you have a liquid sauce, add a little more starch. If the sauce is too thick, then dilute with water. Serve the finished dish hot with any side dish.
