If you want to cook something very tasty for breakfast, but time is sorely lacking, as always, then you definitely need to pay attention to the recipe for quick sour cream cakes, which are prepared in the oven.
It is necessary
- • 3 full glasses of wheat flour;
- • 2/3 cup granulated sugar;
- • 200 g sour cream;
- • half a teaspoon of baking soda.
Instructions
Step 1
Before you start making quick cakes, you need to chill the sour cream in advance by placing it in the refrigerator.
Step 2
Sift the flour thoroughly and add baking soda to it. After that, the flour is well mixed.
In a deep cup, you need to transfer the chilled sour cream, and the required amount of sugar is also poured into this container.
Step 3
Beat the sour cream well with a mixer, whisk, or fork. Then gradually add wheat flour to the whipped sour cream and gently mix everything. If two glasses are not enough and the dough turns out to be thin, then add more flour, but do not overdo it, it should not be too thick.
Step 4
Divide the resulting dough into 2 halves, which should be approximately the same in size. Then each of the halves should be rolled out into a sufficiently thin layer (approximately 0.5 centimeters thick). In order to avoid sticking of the dough to the table surface, you need to use parchment paper.
Step 5
Next, you need to shape small cakes. This can be done with a special mold, or you can take a simple glass.
Step 6
Prepare a baking tray. To do this, cover its bottom with parchment paper and generously grease with softened butter. Then place the prepared cakes on it. They are put together in two pieces (one on top of the other).
Step 7
After that, a baking sheet with cakes must be placed in an oven preheated to 200 degrees on the middle shelf. The cakes will be baked for about a quarter of an hour (maybe a little less).
Step 8
The finished cakes can be divided into 2 halves with a knife and spread in the middle with confiture or jam, and then put them back together. You can also pour chocolate on top of them.
