Step 1
Stir eggs, sugar and honey melted in a water bath in a deep bowl. Add baking soda, quenched with table vinegar or apple cider vinegar, stir.

Gradually add flour to the resulting mixture and stir again thoroughly. The dough should not be too thick! Divide the resulting dough into three portions.
Step 3
Bake each part in a wide pan, greased with butter and powdered flour, for about 20 minutes at a temperature of 160-180 degrees. Check readiness with a toothpick: if removed from the center of the cake dry, you can remove it from the oven. Wait for the finished cake to cool and carefully cut it in two with a long, sharp knife.
Step 4
Prepare the cream: in a deep bowl, whisk the thick sour cream and powdered sugar with a whisk. Add powdered sugar to taste. Grind the peeled walnuts and lightly fry them in a dry skillet. On a wide, flat plate, lay all the cakes on top of one another, liberally greasing each layer with cream. Sprinkle nuts on top of the cake.
