It is necessary

  • 1 - potatoes - 1 kg
  • 2 - canned saury - 1-2 cans
  • 3 - onions - medium onion
  • 4 - salt - to taste
  • 5 - butter - to taste
  • 6 - bay leaf, greens.

Instructions

Step 1

The soup is not cooked for long, as the only thing to cook is potatoes. It turns out very tasty and not usual. Such a light and mouth-watering soup can feed the whole family and delight lovers of variety.

We wash and clean the potatoes. We remove the eyes. Cut into cubes and pour into a saucepan. Fill with water so that the broth is twice as large as potatoes. The water can be taken hot to reduce the boil time of the broth. We put to cook at first on high heat. Add salt to taste.

Step 2

Choose a medium and whole onion, peel it and cut it finely. Onions can be added directly to potatoes for a richer broth, or added sautéed before the soup is ready.

Step 3

We open the canned saury. Cut large pieces in half. Many people like completely chopped canned fish in soup, especially children. And therefore, if there are kids and you want them to taste the fish with pleasure, then it is better to grind at least part of the canned food.

Step 4

While the water is boiling, the heat should be reduced to medium and left to simmer for 10 minutes. Then add the fish.

Step 5

Cook the potatoes until cooked. It is easy to check the readiness - with a spoon you need to get a piece of potatoes and lightly press with a knife. If the potatoes are loose, then the soup is ready.

Add a piece of butter, herbs and seasonings to taste.
