It is necessary

  • Serves 4:
  • - turkey fillet - 850 g;
  • - saffron - 2 teaspoons;
  • - raw bacon - 100 g;
  • - olive oil - 3 tablespoons;
  • - Bulgarian multi-colored pepper - 4 pcs;
  • - red onion - 1 pc;
  • - juice of two lemons;
  • - salt and black pepper to taste.

Instructions

Step 1

Thoroughly wash the turkey fillet, dry it with a paper towel and cut into pieces about 3 cm long. Combine ground pepper, saffron, olive oil and lemon juice in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly.

Step 2

Put the turkey in the marinade so that it covers the meat completely. Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and put it in a cold place for at least 12 hours.

Step 3

Wash the pepper and red onion, peel and cut into large pieces.

Step 4

Cut the bacon into strips (or use ready-made strips of raw bacon). We roll each strip into a roll. We alternate a piece of turkey, bacon roll, pepper, onion on a skewer. Fry over coals until tender, periodically turning over and pouring with marinade.

The resulting low-calorie, healthy and incredibly tasty turkey kebab is recommended to be served, supplemented with herbs, vegetables and sweet and sour sauce.
