The goose meat is very tough and takes a long time to cook. As a rule, goose is cooked in the oven. But you can surprise your family and make a casserole. Poultry is boiled with vegetables and passed through a meat grinder. It turns out to be a very original and unusual dish.

It is necessary

  • - goose meat 500 g
  • - liver 200 g
  • - lard 150 g
  • - white bread 150 g
  • - carrots 100 g
  • - eggs 2 pcs.
  • - parsley root 1 pc.
  • - mushrooms 100 g
  • - onion 1 pc.
  • - fat 20 g
  • - bay leaves 2 pcs.
  • - black peppercorns 4 pcs.
  • - salt and pepper

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the goose meat, cut into large pieces and put in a saucepan. Add onions, carrots, parsley root and mushrooms there. All ingredients must be coarsely chopped. Pour the contents of the saucepan with one liter of water and bring to a boil. Then add the washed and chopped liver, as well as pieces of bacon.

Step 2

Cook the ingredients for half an hour. After that, remove the fat and liver from the broth. Cook the rest of the pan for another two hours, adding bay leaves and peppercorns.

Step 3

When everything is ready, soak the bread in a glass of broth, and then add it to the cooked ingredients and pass everything through a meat grinder at least twice.

Step 4

Grease a baking sheet, put the minced meat. Sprinkle with grated cheese on top. The dish is cooked in the oven for 40 minutes.

Step 5

Cut the casserole into portions, garnish with chopped herbs and serve with any side dish.
