Step 1
If you have a nutcracker, it's best to use it. Just put the nut in the special groove and tighten the handles. Remove it and peel it. Try to do this so that there are no remnants of the shell left, and the kernel is preserved as much as possible.
Step 2
If there are no special pliers, use the most common pliers. A giant nut, of course, will not fit in them, but a medium-sized nut is quite. Pliers work in the same way as nut tongs. And you need to do the same with the nut - peel off the shell and put the pieces of the kernel in a special dish.
Step 3
Some nuts can be cracked with a knife. This method is especially useful for those who want to not only eat a delicious kernel, but also get the halves of the shell to make, for example, a toy boat. It is not necessary to sharpen the knife before this, it must be strong and with a pointed tip. Examine the nut and find a small hole where it was attached to the branch. Even if there is no hole, this is the weakest point in the shell, and the tip of the knife must be inserted exactly there. Hold the nut firmly in one hand and gently but firmly turn the knife with the other.
Step 4
In the most extreme case, there is a door if it does not slide apart, but opens and closes in the most usual way. Place a piece of paper under the door so that the nucleolus is not on the floor. Put the nut in the gap between the door and the jamb and clamp it. Close the door carefully.
