Chow mein is a famous Chinese dish of noodles, meat and vegetables. This dish will definitely not leave anyone indifferent!

- Serves 4:
- - 375 g egg noodles
- - 2 tbsp. l. sunflower oil
- - 2 thinly sliced green chili peppers without seeds
- - 1 clove of garlic, thinly chopped
- - 125g mini corn cobs, halved
- - 150 g green beans, cut into 5 cm pieces
- - 2 carrots, thinly sliced
- - 3 celery stalks, chopped into thin strips
- - 1/2 cucumber, cut into thin strips
- - 4 chopped young onions with herbs + chopped green onions for serving
- - 1 chopped peeled bell pepper
- - 3 tbsp. l. soy sauce
- - 1 tbsp. l. rice wine or dry sherry
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the noodles according to the instructions on the package. Throw in a colander and set aside.
Step 2
Heat oil in a wok or large skillet and add chili and garlic. Cook for 30 seconds, then add corn and beans. Cook for 2 minutes.
Step 3
Add carrots, celery, cucumber, onion and bell peppers, fry for 2-3 minutes.
Step 4
Add soy sauce, wine, and noodles. Stir well and heat. Transfer to warmed plates and garnish with finely chopped green onions.
