Hazelnut cake with caramel cream is a very tasty and quick dessert made almost from hand-made products that can be found in every home. Such a beautiful dessert will satisfy not only your family, but also all the guests who suddenly appear.
Ingredients for the dough:
- 1 tbsp. flour;
- 200 g butter;
- 4 eggs;
- 1 tbsp. Sahara;
- 2 tsp baking powder for dough;
- 1, 5 Art. walnuts.
Ingredients for caramel:
- 70 g butter;
- 80 g brown sugar;
- 2 tbsp. l. sour cream or heavy cream;
- 2 tbsp. l. honey;
- ½ tbsp. walnuts.
Preparation:
- Pour the peeled walnuts onto edible paper and chop with a rolling pin. If this method does not work, you can cut them with a knife into small pieces that will feel in the cake.
- Put the butter in a saucepan, melt and mix with sugar. Beat everything with a mixer.
- Sift flour and mix with baking powder.
- Drive eggs into the butter mass and gradually add flour with baking powder, continuing to beat this mass with a mixer.
- At the very end of mixing, add chopped nuts into the dough and beat everything again. The finished mass should be similar in thickness to the pancake dough.
- Take a muffin or pie tin, grease it liberally with butter.
- Pour the finished dough into a mold and send it to the oven for 40 minutes, preheated to 190 degrees.
- In the meantime, you can prepare the caramel. Put the caramel butter in a saucepan, melt, combine with honey and brown sugar. Cook the butter mass over low heat until it becomes a viscous caramel. Note that ordinary sugar can also be used for caramel, but then the caramelization process will take a little longer.
- At the end of boiling, put sour cream or cream in caramel, mix everything and cook for another 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes add the nuts, stir again, remove from heat and cool.
- Remove the finished cake from the oven, transfer to a dish, pour with caramel and decorate as you wish. For example, sprinkle with coconut or the same walnuts.
- Note that the cake is not very big. If you need a large cake, then the number of ingredients can be doubled, after which the finished cake is cut in half lengthwise and pour caramel both inside and outside.
