Cake with caramel cream is a French cuisine dish. A delicacy, somewhat reminiscent of Napoleon cake. It turns out to be very tender, tasty and satisfying.

- - 1 liter of milk
- - 140 g granulated sugar
- - 10 g yeast
- - 350 g icing sugar
- - 1 egg
- - 6 g baking powder
- - 600 g flour
- - 450 g butter
- - 1 bag of vanillin
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the cream. Pour granulated sugar into a bowl and melt it. Add half the milk, wait until the caramel dissolves in the milk. Then pour in another half of the milk in a thin stream.
Step 2
Place 100 g flour in a bowl. Combine flour and milk mixture. Simmer over low heat until thickened. Remove from heat and leave to cool.
Step 3
Add vanillin, 200 g butter and 200 g icing sugar to the cooled cream. In a mixer, beat the cream into a fluffy mass.
Step 4
Prepare the dough. Mix 3 tbsp. l. milk and yeast. Mix flour with icing sugar and baking powder. Cut the butter into cubes and mix with the flour mixture, then grind into crumbs.
Step 5
Beat the egg and add to the flour mixture. Add yeast milk. Knead the dough. Cover the dough with a towel or plastic wrap and place in a warm place for 15-20 minutes.
Step 6
Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces. Roll out rectangular cakes, about 0.3-0.5 cm thick.
Step 7
Place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for about 10-15 minutes. Remove from oven and leave to cool. Spread the cake with cream, put the second cake on top and do so until the end.
Step 8
Sprinkle with crumbs on top. Cut into portions and serve.
