It is necessary

  • For freezing:
  • - ripe persimmons,
  • - knife,
  • - cutting board,
  • - plastic bags,
  • - glass jars,
  • - sugar syrup,
  • - freezer.
  • For drying:
  • - ripe persimmons,
  • - knife,
  • - cutting board,
  • - baking sheet,
  • - oven,
  • - twine rope,
  • - gauze.

Instructions

Step 1

Freeze the whole persimmon. To do this, take the amount of fruits you need, wash, dry. Place them in the freezer.

Step 2

Freeze the persimmon in chunks. Take persimmon fruit. Wash them, remove the stalk and seeds (if any). Cut the persimmon into slices. Pack in bags and place in the freezer.

Step 3

Try another way. Wash the persimmons, put them in jars (you can use whole fruits, but it is better to cut them into pieces) and cover with sugar syrup. Then close the jars and freeze.

Step 4

Dry the persimmon. Choose hard fruits, it is better if they do not have seeds. Wash the persimmons, peel and punch (if any) and cut into slices.

Step 5

Preheat oven to 40 degrees. Place the sliced fruit on a baking sheet and place in the oven. Determine readiness by eye, most importantly, make sure that the fruits do not darken.

Step 6

Dry the persimmons by hanging them on a strong twine. Do not wash the persimmon. Carefully peel off the peel in a spiral (try not to damage the stalk, it is for it you will have to hang it).

Step 7

Take a rope, make a loop, attach a loop to the stem, tighten and tie in a knot. Tie the next persimmon below. The fruits should not be in contact with each other. The length of the rope should not exceed 1.5 meters.

Step 8

Protect fruit from insects with gauze.

Step 9

For the first 3 days, keep the persimmon in a draft, avoiding sunlight, so that it is weathered from all sides. To dry the persimmon, you need to place it in the darkest place in the house. The rows of fruits should not touch each other.

Step 10

Store persimmons in the refrigerator or on the balcony. It is advisable to lay out the fruits of persimmon so that they do not come into contact with each other.
