Modern household appliances are becoming an indispensable tool for home cooks. Today, even an inexperienced housewife can amaze her loved ones with excellent cooking, it is enough for her to purchase a convenient multicooker. Instructions
Step 1
Chicken with pumpkin
Prepare all the necessary foods before placing the chicken in the multicooker. Thoroughly rinse the gutted chilled carcass in running water, dry and free from the skin. After that, cut it into pieces and cut off the excess fat. Rub the meat with table salt and freshly ground black pepper, then let it sit for a while. While the chicken is juicing, wash and peel the vegetables.
Step 2
Cut the washed and peeled potatoes and pumpkin into equal slices, carrots into slices, and onions into very thin half rings. To give a hot dish in a multicooker additional nuances of aroma, it is recommended to fry the onion until golden brown in refined sunflower oil.
Step 3
Place vegetable slices on the bottom of an electric appliance bowl. The next layer will be chicken, lined with sautéed onions. Fresh root vegetables will take longer than poultry to steam, so don't change layers! Pour kefir over vegetables and meat and cook food for two hours.
Step 4
Chicken in its own juice
Make chicken in a slow cooker without fermented milk dressing, in your own juice. First, peel the cloves of garlic, pass them through a garlic press, or chop very finely with a knife. Grate portions of chicken with a mixture of table salt, minced garlic, your favorite spices and herbs. Fry a large amount of sliced onions in vegetable oil.
Step 5
Place the food in a multicooker. Cover the layers of carrots, potatoes, and chicken with golden, flavorful onions. Place a bay leaf on top, a little crumpled and broken by your hands. Simmer the meat in a sealed multi-cooker for about 2.5 hours.
