Chicken in a slow cooker - a dietary dish in the "Stew" mode
For stewing in a multicooker, a variety of parts of the chicken are suitable - breasts, legs, thighs. Breasts will make a more dietary dish, and fatty legs will make a satisfying one. For cooking you will need:
- chicken (1 kg);
- garlic (3 cloves);
- soy sauce (2 tablespoons);
- honey (1 tablespoon);
- seasonings, salt, red pepper (to taste).
To make the meat tasty and cook faster, the chicken needs to be marinated. Wings need 10-15 minutes, legs and breasts - up to one and a half hours. Make a marinade with soy sauce, honey, spices and garlic and rub the poultry with it. The honey will help to develop a golden brown crust and give the chicken a unique flavor.
Chicken in a slow cooker is very juicy due to the fact that a sufficient amount of steam is retained inside the pan during cooking.
After the bird is marinated, transfer the slices to a multicooker and add a glass of water. Turn on the device in the "Extinguishing" mode. By the way, you can cook rice for a side dish at the same time. In this case, the procedure is different. First, pour 1 cup of washed rice into a multicooker pan and add 2 cups of water. Place the chicken on top of the steaming container. The bird will turn out to be more dietary, and the rice will be saturated with juice dripping from above.
