Agree that making dumplings with the whole family is a wonderful tradition! Especially if you make them with healthy whole grain flour with a sweet filling of fresh plums and vanilla!
It is necessary
- - 1 kg of whole grain flour;
- - 1 liter of thick kefir;
- - 2 tsp soda;
- - 2 tbsp. Sahara;
- - 0.5 tsp salt;
- - 2 eggs;
- - 1 kg of plums;
- - 2 bags of vanilla sugar.
Instructions
Step 1
Using a mixer, mix 100 ml of thick kefir with eggs until smooth. Then pour in the remaining 900 ml of fermented milk drink and mix thoroughly again.
Step 2
Sift the flour with two teaspoons of baking soda into a large bowl.
Step 3
Gradually, in small portions, mix dry ingredients with liquid ingredients and knead the dough.
Step 4
Place the dough from a bowl on a lightly floured surface and knead until you have a stiff enough dough that is elastic enough to roll out easily.
Step 5
Wash the plums, cut them in half or quarters (if the fruits are large), place in a large bowl and sprinkle with vanilla sugar. Leave it on for 10 minutes.
Step 6
Roll out the dough and cut out the circles with a mold or glass. Place half a plum in the center of each and carefully seal the edges.
Step 7
Dust the board well with flour and lay the products on it. Now you can go to the freezer or start preparing a delicious meal right now!
Step 8
Boil a large pot of water, making sure to add salt. Send the dumplings there for about 4 minutes and catch with a slotted spoon. Use natural yoghurt or a mixture of honey and cinnamon for serving!
