Rich honey sauce with aromatic spices and herbs is one of the best options for dressing tender chicken meat. A chicken baked in the oven with such a sauce turns out to be incredibly tasty with an appetizing golden brown crust. And if you cook your favorite side dish for it, then you will get a full-fledged second course for lunch or dinner.
It is necessary
- - Chicken meat (thighs, drumsticks, you can mix or one thing) - 800 g;
- - Honey - 50 ml;
- - Garlic - 4 cloves;
- - Soy sauce - 2 tbsp. l.;
- - Flour - 100 g;
- - Red sweet ground pepper (paprika) - 1 tsp;
- - Ground black pepper - 0.5 tsp;
- - Salt - 0.5 tsp;
- - Vegetable oil for lubrication;
- - Foil;
- - Baking dish.
Instructions
Step 1
Turn on the oven and set the temperature to 200 degrees. While it is warming up, rinse the chicken under running water and pat dry with paper towels. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil.
Step 2
Combine flour and red bell pepper in a plate. Roll each thigh (drumstick) in this mixture and put in a mold so that they do not touch each other. Sprinkle with black pepper and salt on top. If desired, for an even concentration, you can mix black pepper and salt in a separate bowl and then pour on the chicken.
Step 3
Let's make honey sauce. Peel the garlic cloves, finely chop or crush through a press. In a separate small bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Pour this mixture over all the meat.
Step 4
Cover the baking dish with foil and place in the preheated oven for half an hour. After the time has elapsed, remove the form, remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes until a golden crust appears.
Step 5
Divide the cooked chicken in honey sauce into portions and serve with a side dish and fresh salad, garnish with chopped herbs.
