Surprising guests with a chicken dish is quite difficult. This product is known to everyone, is available, and it seems that all dishes have already been tried. But do not rush to conclusions, but rather try to cook chicken in honey. Its taste will pleasantly surprise you and your guests.

Step 1
Take the chicken, wash it and cut it into pieces: separate the drumsticks, thighs, breast fillets and wings from the skeleton. You can buy just thighs in the store, but among the guests or your household there will definitely be someone who is on a diet, leads a healthy lifestyle, or simply prefers white meat. Therefore, do not be lazy to take the whole chicken and butcher it.
Step 2
Place the breast fillet in a plastic bag and beat off with a special culinary hammer or rolling pin. Cellophane will preserve juiciness in the chops. Remove the fillets from the bag and cut into diamonds or strips as desired. The thighs can be split in two to help the meat marinate better. Place the resulting pieces in a saucepan or bowl and leave for a while.
Step 3
Now it's time to prepare the marinade. Put honey in a small bowl. It is better to take liquid honey, however, if only last year's candied honey is left in the house, do not despair. Put it in a water bath to warm it up and it will run thin. Just remember to cool it down before preparing the marinade.
Step 4
Cut the garlic cloves into 4 pieces and add to the honey. Put the soy sauce, water, sesame seeds in the same place and stir. Depending on what kind of soy sauce you have, the amount of honey can vary. If there is not enough salt, you can add some salt to the marinade. The main thing is based on your taste: the marinade should turn out to be salty and sweet, while the hint of honey should not be lost.
Step 5
Pour the chicken with the prepared marinade and mix everything, preferably with your hands, so that each piece of meat is completely covered with the sauce. Leave to marinate for 2-3 hours in the refrigerator.
Step 6
Pour oil into a preheated skillet and add the pieces of meat. Fry until tender for 35-45 minutes. You can add a little marinade to the pan, but then you will have to stir the dish much more often, since the honey will be sealed.
The finished meal can be served with rice, vegetables or French fries.
