There are as many varieties of meat bread in the world as there are lovers of this traditional inexpensive dish. Using a variety of fillings and seasonings, you can prepare delicious dishes from minced meat.

- For 8 servings:
- - 2 large onions;
- - 2 thick celery stalks;
- - 1 large bell pepper;
- - 3 cloves of garlic;
- - 1 kg of lean ground beef;
- - 2 slices of whole grain bread;
- - 1 egg;
- - 1, 5 tsp black pepper;
- - 1 can (400 g) of cut tomatoes in s / s;
- - 4 tablespoons ketchup.
Instructions
Step 1
Pre-dry the bread in the oven and crumble. Chop onion, celery, red pepper. Pass the garlic through a press or grate on a fine grater.
Step 2
Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Spray a thin layer of cooking spray on a 33x23 pan and a large nonstick skillet. Put the pan over medium heat and heat. Add the onions, celery, peppers and garlic and cook for about 5 minutes until they are tender. Transfer vegetables to a bowl.
Step 3
Add minced meat, bread crumbs, egg, pepper to vegetables. Mix thoroughly.
Step 4
Mix the tomatoes in their own juice and the ketchup separately. Add half of this mixture to the minced meat and mix well.
Step 5
Transfer the minced meat to the prepared mold and make it look like a loaf of bread. Make a longitudinal groove at the top and fill with the remaining tomato mixture. Place in a preheated oven for an hour and 15 minutes. Then let stand for 10 minutes in the mold and cut into portions.
Step 6
Leftover meat loaves can be stored in the freezer for up to a month wrapped in foil.
