Sponge macaroons make a great addition to a cup of hot chocolate. Both adults and children will like it!

- Ingredients for 6 persons:
- - 150 gr. butter;
- - 200 gr. Sahara;
- - 2 large eggs;
- - zest of one lemon;
- - 100 gr. ground almonds;
- - a pinch of salt;
- - 150 gr. flour;
- - 16 gr. baking powder.
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 170C. Melt the butter.
Step 2
Beat eggs with sugar and lemon zest. Pour in the butter little by little, continue to beat the mass, at the same time add the ground almonds.
Step 3
Add sifted flour with salt and baking powder to the bowl. Using a wooden spatula, gently knead a homogeneous dough.
Step 4
Grease a square or rectangular shape with oil, pour in the dough. We bake the cake for about 35 minutes, if necessary, increase the baking time by a few minutes. Cool and cut into 6 servings.
