This pilaf recipe does not involve the use of meat. Mushrooms add satiety and taste to the dish, and the advantages of such a recipe include its minimal fat content.
It is necessary
- • Garlic - 1 head;
- • Champignons - 20 mushrooms;
- • Carrots - 1 medium size;
- • Bulgarian pepper - 1 piece;
- • Onions - 2 medium size;
- • Rice - 0.4 kg;
- • Vegetable oil;
- • Turmeric, marjoram, basil, ground paprika and salt to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse and dry the mushrooms.
Step 2
Heat a cauldron with oil, put mushrooms in it, frying over high heat.
Step 3
Add onion half rings to the cauldron.
Step 4
Fry the mixture for about 3 minutes, stirring constantly with a spatula.
Step 5
Simmer covered over low heat, stirring occasionally (15 minutes).
Step 6
Wash, peel and chop the carrots.
Step 7
Add the carrots to the cauldron, increase the heat and stir the mixture for 5 minutes.
Step 8
Chop the pepper (one can be whole, or halves of different colors), send it to the cauldron and simmer for another 5-6 minutes.
Step 9
Salt the dish, add some spices - a third of a teaspoon each.
Step 10
Add half of the selected rice, add some of the spices and salt.
Step 11
Add the rest of the rice, salt again and sprinkle with spices.
Step 12
Put the garlic in the center, cutting off the bottom.
Step 13
Pour boiling water over - the water should be one centimeter higher than the contents.
Step 14
Simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes.
