There are many variations of pilaf. One of them is pilaf with mushrooms, cooked in a pot.
It is necessary
- - rice - 1 glass;
- - fresh mushrooms - 500 g;
- - carrots - 1 pc.;
- - onions - 1 pc.;
- - celery root - 50 g;
- - vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons;
- - salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Pour rice into an earthenware pot, fill with two glasses of hot water. Leave it on for 30-60 minutes to swell the rice.
Step 2
Wash the carrots and celery root. Then peel the vegetables and grate on a coarse grater. Peel and chop the onion. Peel fresh mushrooms, boil, cut into thin slices and lightly fry in vegetable oil.
Step 3
In another skillet, fry the onions first, then add the grated carrots and celery, lightly fry the vegetables together, and then add the mushrooms. Salt the mass and fry everything together for a couple of minutes.
Step 4
Place vegetables and mushrooms in a pot of rice. Place a lid on the dish (you can use foil instead) and place the pot in the hot oven. Pilaf should languish for about 30 minutes
