Salted cabbage is a traditional Russian dish. We can observe it both on the festive table and in everyday life, and in most cases it is made according to the old, well-known recipe. However, there are exceptions to the rules, and a long-familiar dish can be diversified with new flavors and unexpected appearance.
  It is necessary

- 2 kg of cabbage
 - 2 carrots
 - 2 beets
 - 4-5 cloves of garlic
 - 3 tablespoons of salt
 - 5 tablespoons of sugar
 - 0.5 cups apple cider vinegar
 - 100 ml soy sauce
 - ground black pepper to taste
 - allspice peas to taste
 - vegetable oil 0.25 cups.
 
 
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the cabbage from the upper leaves, wash and cut into squares with a side of about 2.5 centimeters.
Step 2
Wash carrots and beets, peel and chop into thin strips. Place vegetables in a separate container. Peel and chop the garlic.
Step 3
Transfer all vegetables to a deep container, alternating cabbage with garlic, carrots, beets.
Step 4
Brine preparation.
Pour 1.5 liters of cold water into an enamel pot. While heating the liquid, dissolve the salt and sugar in it. Bring the mixture to a boil, but do not boil. After boiling, turn off the heat and pour soy sauce into the water. Cool the resulting brine.
Step 5
Pour cold brine over cabbage with vegetables, leave for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Step 6
Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan, season it with black and allspice, then cool.
Step 7
Pour the cabbage with chilled vegetable oil and pepper and leave for a day at room temperature. After a day, put the cabbage in the jars, close the lids tightly and put in the cold.
