Chicken roll is a simple, budgetary and at the same time very sophisticated dish. You just need to learn how to cook it deliciously.

It is necessary

  • Based on 1 chicken roll, you will need:
  • -2-3 legs
  • -2-3 st. tablespoons of gelatin
  • - olives or olives - ½ can
  • - red bell pepper -1 pc.
  • - garlic - 1-2 cloves (to taste)
  • -dill
  • -salt pepper.

Instructions

Step 1

Cut the fillet of the legs into small pieces, add salt, pepper, garlic, passed through a press, finely chop the olives, cut the pepper into small cubes and add all this to the minced meat. Add gelatin and mix everything well together.

Step 2

Fill the container with cooked minced meat. This can be done in two ways:

Method 1 - wrap the roll tightly in several layers of food film (the more layers, the more reliable). Tighten the ends well and, for greater reliability, wrap the roll with rope or tight thread.

Method 2 - tamp the minced meat tightly into an empty tetra-pack bag (from juice or milk) by about ¾ of the bag - this is important, since during the cooking process, the chicken will give juice.

Step 3

When boiling a roll in tetrapack bags, it is best to make 3-4 bags. Since these bags will need to be placed vertically in the pan. And if it is 1 bag, then there is a possibility that it will turn over during boiling in boiling water.

Step 4

Place the bags vertically in the pan and fill the pan with cold water to the filling level of the minced meat (i.e. ¾ of the bag). Boil should be moderate during cooking. Cook the rolls with the lid closed for 1, 5 hours.

Step 5

After that, cool the bags with minced meat. After cooling down, gelatinous interlayers will appear in the roll, which will keep the roll shape.
