Potato casserole is a great option for a simple and delicious dinner. But if you add tender chicken fillet to it, then the dish will turn out to be even more successful. Neither children nor adults will give up such food for sure.

It is necessary

  • - potatoes - 1 kg;
  • - chicken fillet - 500 g;
  • - garlic - 4 cloves;
  • - chicken eggs - 3 pcs.;
  • - hard cheese - 100 g;
  • - bell pepper - 1 pc.;
  • - fresh parsley (or dill) - 1 bunch;
  • - mayonnaise - 100 g;
  • - sour cream - 100 g;
  • - sunflower oil - 0.5 tbsp. l.;
  • - ground black pepper;
  • - salt;
  • - heat resistant baking dish.

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the chicken fillet, then put it in a saucepan of cold water and bring to a boil. Then lower the temperature, cover and cook for half an hour. When the chicken is done, remove it from the pan, cool and cut into small pieces.

Step 2

Peel the potatoes and chop into cubes. Put them in a saucepan, pour in water, add a little salt and cook after boiling for a few minutes. Then drain the water, and transfer the potatoes to the chopped chicken and stir.

Step 3

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Remove the seed stalk from the bell pepper and cut it into small pieces. Peel the garlic and crush through a press. Chop parsley (dill) finely.

Step 4

Break the chicken eggs into a cup, add sour cream, mayonnaise, grated cheese, bell pepper, parsley (dill) and garlic to them. Add salt and black pepper, and then mix thoroughly. The casserole sauce is ready!

Step 5

Turn on the oven and set the temperature to 180 degrees. In the meantime, grease the baking dish with sunflower oil and transfer the chicken and potatoes into it. Pour in the filling so that it is evenly distributed over the entire surface, and send the workpiece to the oven for 30 minutes.

Cut the finished dish into portions - you can immediately serve it to the table.
