It is necessary

  • - chicken meat 500 g
  • - potatoes 1 kg.
  • - tomatoes 2 - 3 pcs.
  • - mayonnaise or sour cream 2 tbsp. l.
  • - water 1 glass
  • - cheese 100 - 150 g
  • - seasoning for chicken
  • - black pepper to taste
  • - salt to taste
  • - any greens to taste

Instructions

Step 1

Cut the defrosted chicken meat into small cubes. Put salt and pepper in a deep bowl. Mix well. Add chicken seasoning, mix again. Chicken seasoning can be substituted for ½ teaspoon curry. Put in a baking dish.

Step 2

We choose medium-sized tomatoes, only one layer is required. Cut them into circles and spread them in a thin layer on the chicken.

Step 3

Peel and cut the potatoes into medium-sized cubes. In a separate bowl, you can add a little salt, stir and lay on top of the tomatoes. You can add ½ teaspoon of turmeric to give the potatoes a golden color.

Step 4

Pour one glass of water into a small bowl. Put 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise or sour cream there (you can have a spoon of both). Add about 2 teaspoons of herbs, mix well and pour in the casserole. The water should cover about half of the entire casserole, so adjust the amount of water based on the size of your baking dish. And it is better to take a glass form to see the water level.

Step 5

Rub the cheese on a coarse grater and sprinkle the casserole with it on top. We put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 40-60 minutes. You need to check the readiness of the potatoes with a toothpick or knife. It should fit easily into potatoes.
